History

In 1974, a group of ministers founded a small college in Wellington known as the Wellington Institute, for the purpose of preparing young adults for lives as servant leaders. The school became the Wellington Canyon University in 1997, expanding program offerings and its student reach troughout the region. Today, thanks to the welcome addition of online learning, the University supports more students from all over the world.
